# Tension Free Zone > Tension Free Zone is a free, fast, and private client-side workspace for academia, finance, and utilities. Every tool runs 100% in the user's browser: no uploads, no accounts, no server processing. Measurement is limited to privacy-respecting aggregate usage (which tool, which language); no user content is ever transmitted. The machine-readable index of every published page is https://tensionfreezone.com/sitemap.xml . ## Tools ### Text Studio (/text-studio) Cleans messy text copied from PDFs: joins broken lines, strips invisible Unicode control characters (zero-width spaces, soft hyphens, bidi marks), collapses whitespace, converts case, and formats output as Notion-ready Markdown. Includes AI-formatting removal, quote straightening, font styling with Unicode fancy-text transforms, and PDF export. ### Splitter (/splitter) Splits long text or code into numbered parts that fit platform limits: Twitter/X (280), LinkedIn, Telegram (4,096), Discord (2,000), Instagram, or a custom character/word limit. Presets are one-click pills; code blocks stay intact and parts are numbered for ordered pasting. ### Text on Image (/text-on-image) Social card generator: renders text onto canvas backgrounds in Instagram post (1:1), portrait (4:5), story (9:16), YouTube thumbnail (16:9), and banner sizes, or any custom pixel size. No redirect service, no expiry, no watermark. ### Invoice Maker (/invoice-maker) Builds a professional invoice with business and client details, itemised lines, discount, tax (GST/VAT label and rate), shipping, notes, and payment terms, then downloads a print-ready A4 PDF with a branded header and footer. Automatic invoice numbering, live totals and a live preview; business defaults stay in the browser. The total is printed as a precise figure with no rounding and no amount-in-words line. ### URL Shortener (/link-shortener) Creates short links that resolve inside the app and counts clicks in the browser. Targets, codes and click counts stay in localStorage; there is no redirect server and no account. ## Privacy model All processing is local. User text, files, images, grades, and financial figures never leave the device. There is no backend and no account system. Telemetry, where enabled, is limited to privacy-respecting aggregate usage events (tool opened, sub-tool viewed, file type) with no file names, no page content, no uploaded data, no advertising trackers and no cross-site identifiers. The single optional network call is citation metadata lookup (Crossref/DataCite) when the user explicitly presses Fetch. Everything except the language and theme preference can be erased with the in-app Clear Workspace control. ## Languages The interface is translated into 8 languages: English, Spanish, French, German, Hindi, Japanese, Chinese (Simplified), and Portuguese. Localized pages are published in 15 languages: those 8 plus Russian, Arabic, Indonesian, Korean, Italian, Dutch, and Turkish. Every published language has its own crawlable URLs under a language prefix, for example /es/pdf-tools/split, /hi/student-finance/emi, /ar/pdf-tools/merge, /ko/text-studio or /tr/cgpa, each with localized titles, meta descriptions, H1 headings, intro copy, FAQs and internal links in its own language, all joined by an hreflang cluster whose x-default is the English page. Chinese is served as zh-Hans and Arabic pages are served right to left. Pages in a language whose interface copy is not translated yet still carry that language's own page copy over the English interface. A language is only given a URL once its pages are genuinely written, so nothing is ever announced in a language the site cannot serve. ## Pricing Free.
