How are cases and statutes cited in OSCOLA?
Choose the case or legislation source type and the form changes to the one OSCOLA expects: case name in italics followed by the neutral citation, and the short statute title with its year and section. Footnotes carry the detail, so the bibliography form is built without it.
When do I need a bibliography entry at all?
OSCOLA asks for a table of cases, a table of legislation and a bibliography of secondary sources, and each is formatted slightly differently from its footnote. The tool shows the note and the list entry side by side so you can take whichever your document needs.
How do I use ibid and the shortened case name?
Both are shown for a repeat reference, because OSCOLA expects them rather than a repeated full citation.
