Frequently asked questions
Where are my deadlines stored?
Only in this browser’s localStorage, as local countdowns. Nothing is uploaded and nothing expires server-side.
Will I get reminders?
Yes. The tracker schedules reminders for the day before and the due date and fires browser notifications plus in-app toasts while the tab is open. No email and no account; notifications need your permission once.
Can I add a deadline to my calendar?
Yes. Every entry has a downloadable .ics file and a Google Calendar link, so one assignment can sit alongside your other events.
Can I back up my deadlines?
Export writes all deadlines to a JSON file you keep; Import merges a saved backup back in and reports how many entries were restored, merged, or skipped. Handy when switching browsers or devices.
Can I track several courses at once?
Add as many assignments as you need; each shows a live countdown and can be marked done or deleted independently.
